Large Stainless Automatic Rabbit watering cups
Upgrade your rabbitry with our Large Stainless Steel Watering Cups. Designed for durability and hygiene, these heavy-duty 304 stainless steel cups eliminate the common issues of plastic bottles, such as chewing, algae growth, and leaks.
Our automatic gravity-fed system ensures your rabbits, guinea pigs, or ferrets have access to fresh water 24/7. The large cup design is perfect for larger breeds (like Flemish Giants) and provides a more natural drinking position, which can reduce dehydration and "wet-chin" skin irritation.

Using an automatic stainless steel watering system is the best way to ensure your rabbits have a constant supply of fresh water. Follow these steps to set up your gravity-fed system.
To set up a complete system, you will need:
Stainless Steel Cups (Small or Large)
Black 5/16" Tubing
Tee-Connectors (to link multiple cups)
A Water Reservoir (a 5-gallon bucket or specialized tank)
A Drill and Bucket Connector Kit (Drill 5/16" hole on the side of the bucket 1-2 inches from the bottom.)
Stainless steel cups are designed to be "chew-proof," so they should be mounted securely to the wire mesh:
Positioning: Place the cup at a height where the rabbit can drink comfortably without crouching or reaching too high (usually 2–4 inches from the floor depending on the breed).
Securing: Slide the back of the cup through the cage wire and use the included wing nuts to tighten it against the mesh. Tip: Ensure the cup is level to prevent dripping.
Connect the tubing to the barb at the back of the cup.
If you have multiple cages, use Tee-connectors to run a main line from your water bucket down to each individual cup.
Pro Tip: Keep the tubing as straight as possible to avoid air bubbles that can block water flow.
Since these are low-pressure cups, they work best with a gravity-fed system:
Place your water bucket at least 1–2 feet higher than the highest watering cup.
This height creates the "head pressure" needed to trigger the internal valve when the rabbit laps at the trigger.
One of the main benefits of stainless steel is how easy it is to keep sanitary:
Weekly: Wipe the inside of the cup with a damp cloth to remove any hair or debris.
Monthly: Flush the lines with a mixture of water and apple cider vinegar or a pet-safe sanitizer to prevent biofilm buildup.
Winter Tip: While the steel is durable, the water inside can freeze. In cold climates, we recommend using a submersible bucket heater in your reservoir to keep the water flowing.
